What you'll be able to do
- Work through a grade in the right order, separating correction from the creative look
- Set up colour management for log footage and understand what a LUT does and does not do
- Read the waveform, RGB parade and vectorscope and correct a shot from what they show rather than from a laptop screen
- Balance exposure, white balance and contrast in Lumetri using curves on an adjustment layer
- Match shots across two cameras and across a day of changing light
- Isolate skin, sky and a brand colour with HSL secondaries, tracked masks and vignettes
