What you'll be able to do
- Assemble a multi-chapter manual as an InDesign book file with continuous page numbering and section markers
- Synchronise styles, swatches and parent pages across every chapter from a single source document
- Build running heads that update themselves from the current heading using text variables
- Generate and update a table of contents across a whole book from paragraph styles
- Create index entries and topics, then compile and format a usable index
- Insert cross-references, footnotes and endnotes that stay correct after the text reflows
