Two days of intermediate Illustrator: brushes, patterns, gradient mesh, isometric drawing, dielines, spot colour and files that survive handover.
What you'll be able to do
- Build custom art, scatter and pattern brushes and apply them to a decorative border
- Construct a repeating pattern swatch with no visible seam and apply it to a packaging panel
- Paint with freeform gradients and gradient mesh to model soft shading on a flat vector shape
- Stack multiple fills and strokes in the Appearance panel and save the result as a reusable graphic style
- Draw an isometric product illustration using precision transforms and the 3D and Materials effect
- Build a packaging dieline on its own layer and place artwork accurately against cut and fold lines
