What you'll be able to do

  • Explain what a prompt, a seed and a reference image each control, and why two runs differ.
  • Choose between Firefly, Photoshop generative features, Midjourney and open models for a given brief.
  • State what each vendor claims about training data and indemnity, and check it against your own licence.
  • Write art direction as a prompt: subject, composition, lens, lighting and material rather than a style name.
  • Control a result with negative prompts, weighting, reference images and structure guidance.
  • Bring a generation into Photoshop as an editable layered file rather than a flat JPEG.
