About this course

Intermediate 1 day · 6 hours

One day for managers: score AI use cases against your own workload, draft an acceptable use policy, question vendors properly and plan a pilot you can measure.

What you'll be able to do

  • Explain to a sceptical team, in non-technical language, what current AI assistants do reliably and where they fail.
  • Map your team's work into tasks that suit automation, tasks that need a human check and tasks that should stay entirely manual.
  • Score a shortlist of use cases against effort, risk, data sensitivity and expected benefit, and defend the ones you rejected.
  • Draft a one-page acceptable use policy covering approved tools, review requirements, prohibited uses and disclosure.
  • Classify your team's data into what may go into a public assistant, what requires a contracted tool and what must never leave your systems.
  • Put a structured set of questions to a vendor on training data, retention, processing location, sub-processors, logging and exit.
