Adobe Certified Professional is Adobe's certification for its applications, and it is delivered through Certiport. Adobe sets the exam objectives, Certiport administers the exam at authorised testing centres, and the credential is awarded by Adobe when you pass. MyLearnPlus is a training provider: we teach the objectives, we set practice tasks in the same shape as the exam, and we tell you honestly whether you look ready. We do not award the credential, we do not administer the exam, and no course anywhere can guarantee a pass.
The certification currently covers Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Animate, Dreamweaver, Acrobat Pro, Adobe Express and Adobe Firefly. This track covers eight of those ten. We do not currently run courses for Animate or Dreamweaver, and we would rather say so than sell you something adjacent. Above the individual exams sit the Specialty Credentials, in Visual Design, Video Design, Web Design and Marketing Design, which Adobe awards when you hold two related professional certifications. Adobe sets and updates which pairings count, so check the current combinations on Adobe's certification pages before you spend money on vouchers.
You choose four courses. Every one of them is built against the published domains for its exam, and every one ends with a timed practice task written in the same shape as the real thing: a brief, a set of files and a clock. Alongside the classes you get an objective checklist that maps each published domain to the session where it was taught, so revision is a matter of working down a list rather than rereading a workbook. Before you book an exam you can take a readiness review with an instructor, who goes through your practice tasks and the checklist and tells you which domains are still soft. Some people are told to sit next week and some are told to spend another fortnight on export settings and colour management, which is the point of asking.
The track runs to between thirty and forty-eight hours over five to eight days, depending on which four courses you choose, live online in your own timezone or in the classroom in Colombo, within twelve months of your first class. Exam vouchers are bought separately from Certiport or an authorised reseller and are not included in the fee; retake rules and any exam discounts are set by Adobe and Certiport, not by us, and are published on their site.
